Pirah - the best breed dogs. But pity I feel for them.

While you must not have known, the puppy breeding industry is extremely cruel. Mother dogs are made to bred repeatedly forcefully. Their pups are taken away when only a month old. Normal dog moms stay with the pups for 3–4 months and have bonds for life.

The mom after she cannot reproduce is killed, so are the pups with diseases, infections. There are alot of ill puppies because of the condition mom is kept in and because they are made to reproduce so unnaturally quickly. That's why you wont see any 'special' breed dog roaming around the streets.

When you adopt, you save many lives. One of the dog you adopt and of many others by rejecting the cruel puppy breeding industry.

India has the highest stray dog population with 30 million of them. Do you want to know a fact? Each year about 50–80 million pups are born, and 99% of them die within their first three months?

How? Some get ran over by SUVs, some are burned alive by kids for fun, some drown in drains, etc.

Now that you know, think this- 'Your child (or a sibling) taken away from you and your family when a month old because some other species think he/she is cute.

And think this, if human trafficking is wrong, why is dog trafficking right?

I know that since you now know, next time you will adopt and ask others to as well.

Adoption is totally free. You can ask in your city's animal shelters or find a orphan pup in the street and adopt.
